The Virginia Southpaws is a blues-influenced, American rock band from Northern Virginia consisting of Rich Russman (guitar, vocals), Mike Greenberg (guitar, vocals), and Jason Mattis (bass guitar). The band's raw roots-rock sound draws heavily from influences, such as the Black Crowes, The Drive by Truckers and Delta Blues greats like Robert Johnson and Skip James.
